What Is The Reason For Abnormal Compressor Pressure And Noise

Abnormal pressure
If the amount of air discharged by the compressor cannot meet the flow requirements of the user at the rated pressure, the exhaust pressure will inevitably decrease. At this point, we had to switch to another machine with the same exhaust pressure and a large exhaust volume. The main reason for the abnormal interstage pressure is the air leakage of the air valve or the air leakage after the wear of the piston ring, so the reasons and measures should be found from these aspects.
Abnormal noise
If some components of the compressor fail, it will make an abnormal sound. Generally speaking, the operator can identify the abnormal sound. The clearance between the piston and the cylinder head is too small, causing direct impact; The connecting nut between the piston rod and piston is loose or detached; The plug on the end face of the piston is loose, causing the piston to move upwards and collide with the cylinder head; Metal debris falling into the cylinder and water accumulation in the cylinder can cause a knocking sound inside the cylinder. Loose, detached, or broken crankshaft bearing shell bolts, nuts, connecting rod bolts, and crosshead bolts in the crankcase, severe wear on the shaft diameter, increased clearance, and excessive or severe wear on the crosshead pin and bushing can cause a knocking sound inside the crankcase. Broken exhaust valve plates, loose or damaged valve springs, improper adjustment of the load regulator, etc. can all cause a knocking sound in the valve chamber. Find the fault and take measures accordingly.
