The main components of Pp film blowing machine include the following key systems:
Extrusion system:
Screw extruder: This is the core part of the film blowing machine, which is responsible for heating and melting polypropylene (PP) particles and transporting them forward. The screw extruder melts and plasticizes the raw plastic through a rotating screw and a heated cylinder to form a continuous melt.
Hopper: Used to load polypropylene pellets and feed them into the screw extruder via a gravity or forced-feed system.
Heater: Distributed on the barrel and head of the screw extruder to provide sufficient heat to melt the polypropylene particles.
Die head system:
Die head (also known as head) : It is a key part of the melt extrusion and molding into a tubular film blank. There is a precise flow channel design inside the die head to ensure that the melt is evenly distributed and the desired shape of the film blank is formed.
Adjusting mechanism: used to adjust the die gap and lip size to control the thickness and width of the film blank.
Blowing system:
Blowing device: includes a compressed air source (such as a fan or a compressed air tank) and a blowing ring (also known as a wind ring). The blowing ring is around the outside of the film billet, and the film billet is expanded and stretched into a bubble tube by blowing compressed air.
Cooling system:
Cooling device: mainly cooling air ring and cooling water tank (may be used in some models). The cooling air ring cools the bubble tubular film quickly by blowing cold air or a combination of cold air and water to make it set.
Traction winch system:
Traction device: Usually composed of one or more pairs of traction rollers, used to pull the cooled film out of the blowout device and maintain a stable tension.
Winding device: the continuous film is wound into a roll, which is convenient for storage and subsequent processing. The winding device usually includes an automatic correction mechanism and a tension control system to ensure the flatness and tightness of the film.
Control system:
Electrical control cabinet: contains PLC controller, touch screen operating interface, motor driver, temperature controller and other electronic components, used to monitor and control the operation of the entire film blowing machine.
Safety protection device: such as overload protection, emergency stop button, temperature alarm, etc., to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
These components work together to enable the conversion of polypropylene particles into thin film products. Different models and specifications of Pp film blowing machines may differ in structural design and component configuration, but the basic principle and main components are similar.
